STEP 1: Check Surplus Funds Riches for a previous submission of that record<\/span><\/h5>\n

Surplus Funds Riches gives you a way to check if a record is already submitted to their system. We cannot check that for you. However, on on our Surplus Records Table, we show you the County and Property Owners Name so that you can identify the record to see if someone else already submitted that file to them.<\/p>\n

STEP 2: Check for Tax Deed Redemption<\/span><\/h5>\n

Florida Tax Deed Auctions have a law that the property owner can redeem their property (pay the taxes owed) after the auction only if:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. It has been less than 24 hours since the auction happened AND<\/li>\n
  2. The high bidder in the auction has not yet paid for their winning bid<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We live-watch the auctions and offer the results\/surplus records on the same day. Once we put the records out there, it is possible that a property owner redeemed after that moment. It’s not that common but it does happen. Therefore, if you choose a record from our surplus list, just do a quick check to make sure the property was not redeemed.<\/p>\n

    STEP 3: Check for Claims already filed with the county<\/span><\/h5>\n

    We supply our records on the same day as the auction so there are definitely no claims on those new records each day. However, as time goes on, you may need to check back to see if there were any claims and if there is surplus left because we do not update the records on our Surplus Table. What you see is from the day of the auction.<\/p>\n

      STEP 5: Generate a Surplus Worksheet<\/span><\/h5>\n

      Using the Worksheet Icon on the surplus table, you generate a Surplus Worksheet that contains information for each surplus record as well as instructions on items that you still need to obtain.<\/p>\n

      STEP 6: \u00a0Fill in Missing Information<\/span><\/h5>\n

      Surplus Funds Riches asks for a few pieces of information that is not automatically supplied on our surplus lists so you will need to obtain that information. However, we make it very easy for you by showing you how and where to locate that information quickly<\/strong> and give you the appropriate links to do so. (See below the Steps)<\/p>\n
